About the Opportunity: As one of enVision Community Living's program & services, Eastman Employment Services connects employers to job seekers with diverse abilities in Southeast Manitoba.
Reporting to the Coordinator, as a Manager you will be responsible for overseeing Employment Facilitators and Job Coaches, who will be directly involved with supported employment and transition into work environments. With a commitment to the vision, mission and values of enVision, the Manager will ensure person-centered services for people supported to reach their potential and be provided with equal opportunities to fully participate in the community.
A key responsibility will be providing effective leadership in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring a high level of individual and team performance. As the ideal candidate, you will work closely with management and other colleagues to assist in the implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and initiatives, with daily responsibility for staff scheduling and documentation.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience is preferred, with experience and education/training in the Disability Sector considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of staff.
- Previous experience supporting individuals with an intellectual disability.
- Demonstrated ability to advocate and promote self-advocacy.
- Excellent written, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to take initiative, problem-solve and work independently.
- Diploma in Disability and Community Support or other applicable education considered an asset
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Valid Manitoba Drivers Class 5F and access to vehicle required
- Experience in the Non-Profit sector is an asset

Additional Information
· Hours or Work: 80 Hours Bi-weekly; from Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
· Work Environment is 100% On-site
· This position requires satisfactory Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check as well as clear Adult Abuse Registry Check and clear Child Abuse Registry Check.
