Full Time - Permanent Position

About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Coordinator, the Manager for Day Service Program is responsible for ensuring person-centered services for people supported so that they may reach their potential with equal opportunity and fully participate in the community around them. As a Manager, you would:
 
·       Provide effective leadership within a fast-paced environment
·       Ensure a high level of individual and team performance
·       Assist in the implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and initiatives
·       Have daily responsibility for staff scheduling and documentation
·       Oversee day-to-day service delivery
·       Ensure a commitment to the vision, mission and values of enVision
 
Qualifications: 
·       A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience is preferred, with experience and education/training in the Disability sector considered an asset.
· Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual disability.
·       Strong relationship building skills and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach in resolving issues.
·       Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
·       Excellent communication skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
·       Demonstrate ability to advocate and promote self-advocacy.
·       Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office / Outlook.
·       Manual dexterity required to use desktop/laptop computers or other devices.
·  Valid Manitoba Class 5F (Full) Driver's License and access to vehicle, willingness to transport person supported required. 
·  Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, with clear Vulnerable Sector Search, a clear Child and Adult Abuse Registry Check. Document will be considered current if obtained no more than 3 months
to start of employment

Additional Info:
 
·       Hours of Work: This is a salary position, and we will schedule a minimum of 40 hours weekly from Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Also some weekends and evenings may be required to offer support.
·       Working Environment: 100% On-site
